Mr. Abhijeet Karnik is a disciple of legendary singer Shri. Suresh Wadkar and received his classical vocal foundations at the esteemed Ajivasan Music Academy, Mumbai.
He learned Hindustani Classical and Semi-Classical music, particularly vocal music, under the tutelage of Pandit Suresh Wadkar, Mrs. Padma Wadkar, Sampada Bandodkar, and Aruna Chaudhari—distinguished teachers associated with Ajivasan.
He also received deep musical guidance and spiritual expression training from Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota Ji for a period of time. Over the years, Mr. Karnik has enthralled audiences across India in various prestigious musical programs.
Apart from singing and composing, he is an active member of the Screen Writers Association (SWA), Mumbai. He has penned soulful song lyrics, theatrical dramas, and short-film dialogues. Furthermore, he has directed video album songs and short films (including the acclaimed short film "जगवाल तर.. जगाल"), and lent his voice to recordings, commercials, and jingles.
